Default Motor mock-up

iv kept my setup pretty much too my self thus far... well this is what i have so far as far some of the main components... i polished everything myself other than the jg manifold (thanks to viren for that piece )

Very nice looking

What advantages does that manifold have over the standard type? Can you fit that onto a daily driving integ??

I shaved off my badges about a year ago....j/k

Are you gonna be running a tec3 or something? Those sparkplug wires kinda reminds me of this coil pack setups

very nice!! All I can say is wow! Must have took you a long time to polish up everything. It took me 3 days to polish my intake manifold and it doesn't even look that polished. What did you use to polish your stuff? I started out wet sanding my stuff with grid 400 and then 600 and then using a buffer. How did you do it?

Exhaust gases dont travel through the exhaust smoothly, instead they travel in waves or pressure pulses created by the opening of the exhaust valve with high pressure behind it . with carefull design of the lenght and diameter of the header tubes , the high-pressure zone from on cylinder will reach the collector simultaneously with the low pressure zone from another cylinder , the exhaust flow is smoothed tremendously.When this pulses reach the end of the tube, they send an opposite wave back down the tube, so it is possible to control these pressures waves and use them to increasethe amount of air flowing through the engine , dramatically increasing horsepower...A turbo adds another factor, when the gases reaching the exhaust side of the turbo are a turbulent jumble of pulses, the turbine is not effective but when the pulses are smoothly coordinated and not fighting eachother the turbine has a better chance to extract energy from them. is better to capture energy delivered in pulses than assuming a constant flow and the only way to get pulses coordinated on a conventional engine is to build a long-tube header. its pretty much rotary technology , rotary engines have strong exhaust pulses....wow that was alot of writing

That's beautiful man! But you should have painted the block cast. Painting it black is asking for headaches, if you ever have an oil leak, your gonna have a hella time finding it. But that whole setup looks totally fresh. Good luck with your ****.
