That's why I'm going D series. If you blow it up you can always pick up another with low mileage for cheap cheap cheap :-D

and yes i cant complain because i beat the hell out of that motor and it was just a matter of time before it happened, i picked up a low mileage long block for $250 so im happy.

damn, 40k in one year? you definitely drove that motor hard and long, and i bet it was damn worth it. so for the average person that woud be a life span of like 3-4 yrs!

I agree with this^^^. I've had mine for 2years boosted at 10psi daily with the exact same set-up. I always thought I drove mine pretty hard, maybe you just had bad luck.

well ive had it for 8 months im not sure how long the motor has actually been boosted, the guy i bought it from had the kit made, but it was slow, i think he had put about 20,000 boosted miles on it over 6-8 months so i guess you could say
1 1/2 yrs. at any rate it still held up to quite a beating, oh i also drove it for a few months with the timing off. when i fixed the timing quarter mile times dropped from 14.8-9 to 14.1-2
