Default Motor Build

whats up I am new to this import stuff and I have a B16 and wanted to know what kind of work to the head I should do If I was going to put a turbo on it.
Also can you turbo a motor if you bore 84mm and sleeve it does it have to much compression for a turbo please remember i am new and just trying to learn before I start my build I have a block waiting to start work on.
Thanks a head of time.

Head: Cams
Block: forged pistons, h beam rods, and your good. Compression has nothing to do with piston size.

my goal is to get the most hp as possible I was hoping to get 550-600 if it is at all possible I know these motors are capabale of insane power but it may just be a pipe dream. The reason I asked about compression in the motor is I read that a spoon built motor has to much compression and you shouldn't run a turbo on it. is it true any thoughts.

you can make more power on 93 octane when you have lower compression. if you are 10:1 you might have to run race gas to get to 400, but if you're 8:1 you can run 93 octane usually. you're going to have to run race gas at 550 no matter how low your compression is but it'll be easier to tune and less likely to blow up at that power level. for that much power you need 1000cc injectors, you need to sleeve the block, get good rods, and i'd use 8:1 pistons. just so you know, 500hp on a street car will be retarted to drive, you won't get traction until 3rd gear at the earliest. more power isn't useful unless you can put it to the road so keep that in mind. you can build a civic for 1000whp but it'll pretty much be a quick way to dig a hole in the ground and shred tires.

well I thank you guys for the help so the lower compression I go the better off I will be when running a turbo then also i deff see what you are talking about to much hp for a street ride i will shoot for something less untill im ready to go allout race car.
