the most streetable hp
what is the most streetable horsepower a h22 can pump out???
the motor is turbocharged and in a 5th gen prelude..
when i mean streetable i'm mean able to pass emissions...and not being able to burn out in 3rd just by mashing the throttle...
350whp? 400whp?

I think that would be my limit. Whats the point to having more if you can't put it to the ground.

I can do rolling burnouts in 3rd right now at around 300whp, but that is in a light EG. 60mph, put it in 3rd, mash the gas, let them spin a little. 4th is a LOT of fun though. Anyway I'd guess with some decent tires, lsd, and that heavy prelude you could put 350whp to the ground from a roll in 3rd.
i can be going in 3rd and spin the tires and hit the revlimter easy and if i go to 4th with the tire spinning i can keep them spinning for a while
but i got a very peaky powerband right now h23 stock cams
peak tq @6000rpms and peak whp@ 6200
but cams going in this week and re-dynoing
if you was to ever ride in my car it likes to spin the tire on the top of all the gears
i can be in 3th and going 60mph and hit it and 19psi comes around 4800rpms and the car is pulling but not spinning and next thing you know 75mph come around 6000rpms and the tires break lose and start skiping all across the road
i got big wheels so you got to make sure you got your hand tight on the wheel
and you bang 4th and it will keep spining for over 10 yards
but i hate 1st gear i cant get but 15psi by the revlimter
but it keeps the tire spin down and 2nd is useless
but i really think 400whp is to much for street racing unless you got a light car with a short stroke to cut back on the wtq so can put the power to the ground
