If I buy a new fuel pump how much NOS can i run? I have a Kit on my car now and have been spraying a 100 shot. Can spray once at 200 with no problems?

My friend wants to race me in his Stang. Hes got a 5.0 93 Cobra. I can hang with him pretty good with the 100 shot. But i'd burn him with a 200 shot.

Will my motor be ok?

you might get lucky but I doubt it.

hell, I'm surprised it's lived as long as it has under the 100 shot you're throwing at it.

wet or dry system?? what kind of fueling/timing mods do you have? exact engine combo?

Its a wet system and i have the jets but just afraid of that. I blew my engine once thats why I swapped engines. But only cause it was over heating. Its pretty much stock except for whats in the sig. I did pull a few degress of timing though.

What do i need to run that high? If the motor is built for 200, will the tranny hold up?

since it's a weekend goof off car I dont feel so bad but with only a cold air intake and a header I wouldn't try a 200 shot unless you like rolling dice with your entire piggy bank very often cause that's a hell of a gamble even on a wet shot.

though I'd trust a wet shot more than a dry shot.

um, your best shot for success (which is still slim on a stock d16) with a 200 shot would be to get an msd ignition retard, some bigger injectors...or a supplimental injector for when the nitrous is active, race from a roll on the highway or something to be easier on the tranny/axles, and a few of those rear view mirror angels to pray for your engine.

NO, it will blow! has it even been tuned w/ the 100shot? cause thats a big risk too!
your stock fuel pump will be fine. i had a 75shot on my b18c1 it was tuned and it had the stock d-series fuel pump and it still fried a few of my intake valves after only a few bottles.
