Remember, there's 6 injectors, so he has 50% more injector/fuel capacity than a 4 cylinder.

That's so awesome. You're going to tear some stuff up with that. Do you have an estimated weight for it w/that setup?

wow, a little more than I thought. Is the driver fat? haha... either way 3000 lbs w/400 horse is a winning combo. Good luck with traction.

That is hilarious. Make sure you paint that IC black, and PM me when you go to epping. I'd like to see this in person.

The motor is sitting backwards in there so I'd say hes not using the 3k tranny.

Awesome project!

Not taht I look at it. some acclaims came with the 3.0 V6. which was supposed to be the same as the 3000GT just no turbo? is this true? If that's the case. I coudls e eit droppngi right in no probkems and his stock FWD tranny bolting right up.

The stock engine that came in the Acclaim is a SOHC version of the 6g72, so the block is nearly identical. Chrysler made a FWD 5-speed tranny for this engine so it bolts right up with no problems. Same with the motor mounts. As far as I know, only one other person has done this swap in a Daytona using a single turbo setup. The project probably won't be complete until June, but I'll definitely be at Epping all summer.

guys that live outside the snowbelt are sissies j/k.. if he used a stock v6 acclaim tranny it wont last long.. they seem fragile.

i got a dodge spirit (dodge version of that car) for 100 bucks in good cond with 80k on it.. i was thinking about throwing on the turbo setup off of my charger (EXACT same setup).. feels like 250-275ish
