Hello all,

I've posted a handful of times regarding my personal car here, with the last dyno info posted back in 2013. ( https://honda-tech.com/k-series-153/...right-3144444/ )

I've been beating the crap out of this thing ever since on the same setup listed in the link above, have competed in numerous 1,600ft roll racing event, and drag raced a handful of times.

Last week, the old dinosaur Garrett T3/T67 H.O. turbo decided to start smoking a little on decel, and I had a Precision 6766 ball bearing turbo sitting on the shelf waiting for me to use it, so I decided to toss it on last weekend. Today, after we closed shop, I tossed it on the dyno to touch up the tune.

723whp / 444wtq @ 26.8psi

I kept boost down in the middle to limit shock-load to the rods (and to aid in traction, in my experience on this car), and limited it to slightly above the power level it left at over two years ago (fearing a transmission breakage on the dyno if I got too carried away).

The setup is:

Stock K20A2 shortblock (stock rods/pistons/crank/everything)
Stock head bolts (head has never been removed)
Stock head gasket
Stock camshafts
Supertech 100psi valve springs/titanium retainers
AFI intake manifold
Full-Race T3/v44 tubular top mount exhaust manifold
3" side exit exhaust
Precision 6766BB, T3, .82AR
3" charge piping
Garrett core intercooler (950hp core)
ID2000's
8AN feed/6AN return
Twin 340lph in-tank pumps
Pump E85 (83% content)

Some photos of the car:

If anyone has any questions about the car, the setup, the tune, whatever; let me know! I'm an open book.

Thanks!

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand getting an rsx in the future for this among other reasons, but the engine is a big one. Glad to see your build still going strong, is spool any quicker with the precision?

Out of curiosity if you put a similar top mount & turbo on a b18c1 gsr motor what would power output be estimated as?

ARE YOU STILL RUNNING STOCK HEAD BOLTS?!!!!!! That is crazy that it has held together for so long.

It's got about 13deg of ignition timing in it at 26psi.

How do you ramp that in to save the rods??
These tq numbers just baffle me on a stock motor

I don't ramp ignition in to save anything, just torque, with some induced boost creep.

It's going to be a magnificent spectacle when this thing finally blows up.

Is the Green line the T67 and the blue line the 6766 ?

If so then am I correct in "reading" that the 6766 spooled up around the same mark as the T67 but obviously flows more once on boost thus the increase in power.

Not going to lie thats pretty hard to believe, espescially the timing without water/meth let alone clearance with stock pistons or trans holding up whats the track time

He is using e85. And he really knows what he's doing when I comes to tuning.

No, sorry for the confusion, the green and blue lines are just two runs in the set run set on my dyno. But response between the T67 and the 6766BB is almost identical on the dyno. Transient response during driving is a little better with the BB turbo.

Ethanol does a phenomenal job at cooling combustion.

Believe what you want. It went 143mph in the 1/4 at 690whp in a 2,760lbs car before, and traps between 164-169mph at the 1,600ft roll racing event I compete in.
