take it off and go to lowes or home depot, and size it up

that bolt is for adjusting the tightness of the spring. just bring the bov to lowes or home depot and find out what size/pitch fits and use it

yeah you have to undue all the allen bolts, be vary careful when you get to the last bolt because there is 2 pressure springs inside that might go flying if not careful. Once you get it open it's pretty simple inside, take the top part to the hardware store and size it up. just make sure you put everything back together.

the nut is there as a safety feature so the bolt don't move after you set it. trust me once you get it open you will see that it's not that difficult just screw the new bolt back on top and your done.

yeah, well i got a new bolt.fits pretty snug,so that bolt sits on top of the plate that is held in place by the spring?and this bolt just ads more force to the spring right?
