Default Minimum fuel pressure

I am experimenting with lower idle fuel pressures in an effort to control fuel in idle or part throttle environments. I will be going standalone soon, but in the meantime, I'm trying to get the car to idle. Boosted, 440cc, stock modified regulator, VAFC, Holley FI pump, no fmu. I know optimum is 40 to 70 psig, but at that pressure, I can't pull enough fuel with the VAFC to bring the AF in check, I am using EGT to "tune". The car ran 12s in the spring in nice cold weather, now in 85 degree weather idling is becoming a bore. I lowered the pressure to 30-35, it idles much better, I am looking for people who have run lower than 38 to 40 psig for your feedback, anyone who hasn't done this, don't bother editorializing or commenting.
