Default Mickey Thompson Slicks

I know this is not a turbo question but does the Mickey Thompson 20x6x14 slicks use tubes? Thanks.

Thanks. Do you recommend running them w/ or without tubes?
Is there any problems w/ running them without tubes?

Running them with tubes and screws into bead is best, only problem is finding the right tube to fit such a short tire...as far as running them without tubes only problems u could run into is that the tire will lose air alittle bit faster, they're less stable at speed and without screws, tire could spin on rim..u cant use screws without tubes, they will leak..

I run the 22 x 8 x 15 M/T. I run them without tubes. If you do want to screw them to the rim you will need tubes. As far as the leaking - Mine only lost about 2lbs over a 3-4 month period......never spun them on the rim either.

this may seem like a stupid question but do you need to balance them on the rim?
Thanks

Yes - that is the only way. You don't want them going out of balance at the end on the track trying to slow down.............

I have 20x8x14 and 20x6x14 MT slicks. No tubes need, but air will leak down over time. I run them at 13-14 psi without screws. At 12 psi on the 20x8x14's I did manage to spin the tires on the rims.

But I did run a 1.875 60ft with just a juiced SOHC also!
