measuring compressor inducer wheel?

Default measuring compressor inducer wheel?

how do i do this exactly? Do i just unbolt the compressor cover bolts and the housing slides off?

Yessir...Make sure to take accurate measurements of the top and bottom of the compressor wheel. There is a formula floating around HT somewhere that tells you how to calculate the exact AR from those 2 measurements

If the housing is a PITA coming off, what is the best way to persuade it to come off? Rubber mallett?

yea carefully tapping around the perimeter on the housing where it seals to the chra till it comes loose with a rubber mallet is probably your best bet if its not coming off by hand.

One thing to be careful of, is that some turbos have a little rubber O-ring around the perimeter of the backplate. What this basically means is when you take the housing off, be careful not to twist it back and forth a lot or you risk tearing that O-ring

Don't you mean Calculate the TRIM of the wheel?
