Default maxrev downpipe

i was looking at a maxrev downpipe and it had a circular 4 bolt flange, but the kit comes w/ a t3/t4 that has the 5 bolt flange... so will the maxrev downpipe fit this t3t4?

no it won't

you either need a 5bolt flange for your downpipe or a turbine housing with a 4 bolt flange.

Not that I am awhere of.........
Where did you buy this kit from? Did the turbo and downpipe come from the same place?

You will probably have to have a five bolt flange welded to the maxrev DP after removing the four bolt flange.

*edit: I see the manifold/DP were bought independently of the turbocharger, that was the issue*
Best bet would be to mount the manifold and turbo up so you can mock up the correct 5 bolt flange position before welding it up.

just send it back to maxrev. they'd probably be more willing to give you a new downpipe flange then a turbine housing.

if you got the kit used, then you can buy a 5bolt flange and have a muffler shop weld it on. not sure who would sell the flange, but i'm sure most turbo retailers.

That's exactly what I'm doing w/ my MaxRev DP. http://www.cheapturbo.com and http://www.roadraceengineering.com/ sell the flanges, I believe. So does Turbonetics

just buy a 5 bolt flange and take it to a muffler shop. tell them to cut off the 4 bolt flange and weld on the 5 bolt flange. pretty simple task.

by the way, here is my maxrev downpipe...bling bling action

Maxrev uses garret turbos. By the way, is you down pipe chromed or polished?

Another related, but off topic Q : Are any downpipes interchangeable? If I have a Drag, but I want one with a flexpipe, could I use any of the other downpipes for bseries kits?

easiest thing to do would be to cut the flange off and weld a new 5 bolt flange to it.
muffler shops don't charge that much to do that and you can get the 5 bolt flange from almost anywhere.
cheapturbo.com for one
or majesticturbo
