MAX REV downpipe...OR Rev Hard downpipe...????
this is a personal question so a search wouldnt really help.
im just about to order up my last little "tid bits" for my custom kit(finally) but ive come to a little dilema.
The dp i was going with was revhard, but I didnt really look it up..after doing so I see that it has NO o2 bung, and no flexpipe(most likely it will be too short) and on top of that i was going to have to change the flange to a 4 bolt.
so that means for rev hard:
-lenghten(with flexpipe)
-change flange
-add 02 bung(EDIT: SUPPOSEDLY IT DOES HAVE AN 02 BUNG)
as for the max rev,
it has a 4 bolt flange already, has flex pipe and an o2 bung but being for the max rev mani it would be a tad short(for my inline pro mani)
all I would have to do is lengthen...
which would you go with?
the max rev is also stainless steel(which is better than mild steel but harder to weld?? but nothing a shop couldnt do if i couldnt)
so , which one?

I'd go with the rev hard dp, it's an exact fit for the inline pro manifold. I don't think the max rev dp would just bolt on, you'd probably have to cut, weld and adjust to get it to fit. You could always just make your own the way you want it.

well for the max rev all I would have to do is lengthen it.. for rev hard i would have to do 2 things... hmmmmm
any other opinions

If you decide on the MaxRev, I have a brand new DP for sale. My manifold/turbo were in my trunk when my car got stolen. Now I have a DP with no car. It is brand spankin' new. Make me an offer if interested. silver_ek4@hotmail.com.

maxrev 2.5" downpipe is pure quality.. its a much better solution to use theirs and find someone who can tig as well as they can to change the downpipe to fit the inlinepro/revhard manifold (and it does let you keep a/c)
I don't think neither will fit. Best bet is order the flanges and take it to a muffler shop w/ a tig welder. The Max Rev is for a Max Rev for a MR manifold the Inline Pro is for a RH but w/ a 5 bolt flange. Good Luck! Way different off-set on the turbine housings.

i knwo the offset is diff, but it might work...cripes..
i would rather have a pipe to work with..it would probably be cheaper than getting someone here to make me one...

if you need it done, you can send me your manifold, turbo, etc and i can make it for you.
it will be even higher quality than the maxrev dps. Complete stainless steel tig welded flex etc etc. I dont plan on making these for any drag manifolds or any other manifolds, so please dont ask. Also these will be 3" and not a/c compatible.

hmm, i would go with geoff but im keeping my a/c. so it has to be 2.5"..
i think i might just go with revhard and lengthen it...
, it cant be too bad...

just go to an exhaust shop and get them to make you one, it'll be cheaper then getting a dp and modding it, especially if you get the bends before, and they just have to put it together
Let Geoff do it for you I'm sure he can do the old 2.5" to 3" flare after 6" to accomodate for the a/c, buying a dowpipe and than having to put another $100 just isn't worth the money, plus it will be better quality over the one your going to buy and than have modified with some mild steel that will rust in no time...

Thats just my 0.2 cents...
