Default max boost on pump gas?

just wanted to find out what the max boost anyone have run on 91 octane. That the only thing available in southern california. i have a built h22 block currently running 17 psi. my tunning guys says 18 is safe on pump gas. anything higher he said he wants me to get racing gas. the block is built and i want to go at least 20 or plus psi hopefully to put me into the 350-400whp range. I put wiseco low compression 8:5:1-8:8:1 piston so i can run higher boost without worrying much about detonation. what do you guys think?

i think you should listen to your tuner and not blow a motor because you wanted to run pump gas for an extra 2-3 psi which probably isnt much more whp then you have now at 17psi considering your talking about running 20psi to make 350whp which tells me your already probably maxing the turbo or basically just blowing hot air

ive seen greddy kits make that power on 15-17..psi-.........

might wanna consider a turbo upgrade

Re-figure your turbo set up. I am making 300whp on 8psi in H22..
