Masterpower Turbos
Anyone rocking one of these? If so how long have you been using it and how are the results? Found a local dealer for them and they dont look to bad. But can't seem to find a whole lot of solid info on them.

Re: Masterpower Turbos (urbansi)
seems like that is their only set up really. t3/t04e .63ar stage III wheels.
Mainly looking for reliability factor. Not looking to crank any crazy boost or power out of it.
setup is LS @ 12psi.

From what I see Master Power is now SPA or something along those lines. I believe that Master Power used to have some sort of deal/contract with Garrett, but no longer do. From the stuff I've see of theirs I think they'd make AMAZING boat anchors. But that's about it. Sorry if this doesn't help, after all it is only my opinion

they are tough as ****. My fabricator has been so hard on his on his 2JZ all of this year and some last year. 650-700 on his mp "gt45" which is a large frame turbo but its a 68mm inducer and a big exducer. He's really rough on his parts. I wouldn't run one, just because they are ugly lol but hey are a cheap and strong substitute for expensive large turbos.

Re: Masterpower Turbos (nick@vlmspec)
I just ordered a Master Power t3/to4e .57 trim w/ stage 3 wheel. From what I've researched on this particular turbo is that they offer a life time warranty and 360 deg thrust bearings. Also they're known to be used widely on domestics and supras. I might add that there are many knock offs made by XSpower/SSAC using the MP name so make sure you know it's an authentic piece from MP itself or your **** out of luck. These are brazilian turbos and from what I hear they're very reliable and priced well. I would go w/ the purchase and give them a try

Re: (krazyhmongboi)
The ones made in Brasil are the good ones and are good reliable turbos, they just dont make good power like a garret or precision unit.

Re: (Adriano)
A friend of mine is going to run one of them if his LS/VTEC setup, I'll keep a watch on it to see how it goes. But generally speaking, you hear more good stuff about them than bad, at least here in south america.

There is a local guy in my town who runs twin MPT70's on a 400' stroked blow through carbed setup. Runs high 8's around 20psi for the last two years. He drives the car alot on the street and said they have been great for him.
