Default map sensor from a grand national, will it work?

i needed a 3bar and i was wondering if the one for a grand national (turbo) would work, thanks!

yes, it will work. The other option is one that is used on a late 80's (?!) Trans Am...

They also made a 301 cu.inch V8 turbo.They made it around '80,'81.It was a strange engine,almost none of the parts will fit any other gm engine.

I'm pretty sure the GM 3 bar was only produced for the aforementioned '89 TTA. *That* was a wierd car (chassis wise) as next to none of the other 3G F-body parts will fit onto it. As far as the turbo blow thru carb 301 of the early '80s... NJIN, I wish ppl would forget those POS. JUNK with a capital J U N K.

Anyway, GN = 2 bar MAP.

All the other parts fit, esp the 1LE suspension, which the TTA had.

i believe the grand national uses a 2bar.
be careful because they look practically identical

they work but will throw off your map and will only let u boost to about 12psi

summit racing sells msd 3bar map sensors for around 50-60 bucks , thats what i have
