Hello.
I am searching for good, stable and high precision 3,5 bar or 4bar map sensor. What would you advice me?
Thank you!

Hondata, AEM EMS , and Ominipower all have 3.5 and 4 bar MAP sensors that replace the stock OEM sensor in the same location. There's really not one better than the other as they all use similar internal components to give the same signal. So in either case, as long as you don't try an eBay knock-off, you can't go wrong.

Do they require more tuning compared to stock other than programming in which sensor is used?

There needs to be adjustments made, yes, as each map sensor displays different voltage that the ECU system sees based upon what BAR the sensor is good for.

For example. If you use a 2.5BAR sensor and your system is calibrated as though its expecting a 3bar sensor, the signal will be off and the computer would think you're utilizing say 12 psi of boost pressure, when its really 8. So it is important to calibrate the map sensor properly to your engine management system.

And your reasoning?.............

These one sentence answers never did make any sense. Hell, you didn't even quote anyone.

Im running an AEM 3.5 bar. Havent had an issue. I dont have a standalone, im running Kpro/Kmanager and they give the option to select an AEM map. Also gives a bunch of other options as well as a custom one if not listed, which im sure takes more tweaking to work. Im assuming s300 has the same feature. Not sure what the capabilities are with chrome, neptune, or other softwares that are similar.

I have an AEM 5 bar mounted to the firewall. On hot days it will occasionally go wack, (especially at the track for some reason) and stop reading, requiring me to unplug the sensor and unplug battery and reset the system. Its weird and I cannot place the blame on the MAP sensor completely because I really dont know, but its wired fine and the ecu is ok, but I never had the issue with my Omnipower.
