Manual or digital boost controller
For a street car a manual controller is a good upgrade from just a waste gate spring. But an electronic controller is worlds better than a mbc , especially on a race car.
A lot of EBC don't work well, or at all.
I've seen run of the mill cookie cutter build nine and ten second Honduhs running a two stage MBC.
Going from TurboXS dual stage to AVC-R on a recent CRX, the driver might have picked up a tenth in the quarter. He's also one of the better drivers on the planet, so your mileage may vary.
