Default Manifold Temps?

I called a local power coating company in my area asking them if they had a high temp coating that would be sutable for an exhaust manifold. He said he would like to try a new 1200 degree coating he can get. would it hold up?

He also said he would do it for just the price of the materials since it is a first for him if I would like to try it when I get my manifold, so it will be around $20.00.

Its not a paint. Its a high temp powder coat. They coat it with a powder then cook the manifold in a oven, that bonds the powder to the metal.

No, its a shop in Bend called Commercial Coatings. They do big work like powder coating chassis and trailor frames.
