I know im a post ***** but i cant find this info no where. Before you ask I am doing ls vtec so im transfer things from my ls manifold to a 99-00 si manifold. That connector that is on the far right by the throttle cable holder on the Ls manifold. Where do I put that on the b16 manifold??? On top of the b16 manifold what is that extra port for? It is not on my ls.

I am going to use my ls throttle body on this Si manifold. I do not see a single spot for that sensor.

That sensor is mounted in the intake pipe on 99-00 Si's. It's just a hole with a grommet, so you'd either have to switch over to the 99-00 style sensor or machine out the blank port on the cyl 1 runner on the intake, it's been done...I know I saw it around here somewhere.

I drilled a hole in my charge pipe before my turbo (temporary) and put a rubber grommet in the hole. Thats how some of the turbo kits do it for the si kit. Yeah you will have to get a hole machined on the mani otherwise.

I suggest you just drill and tap the manifold in the same spot as its on the ls, having the air temp sensor in the 1st running is much more acurate of a measurement for the ecu to process and work off of.

some people plug the sensor into the plug on the harness, and let the sensor hang in the engine bay...it works and dont throw codes.

yes, i know its ghetto

all you do is just leave it alone. I have the same setup too. don't worry about it, because it won't effect your performance.
