Default lucas 440 and d16z6 problem

trying to install my lucas 440cc, seems the bottom (very tip) of the injector is to fat. and prevents it from going into the im fully. even when i remove the rubber grommet and orings... it wont go in as far as it should. the top portion fits snug and is in all the way... but the bottom is preventing me from being able to screw down the fuel rail. can i just sand down the tip of the injector? (its the lip that holds the oring in place.) since the oem injector doesnt have the lip on the bottom.

Take a Dremel with the Round Tip and start Shaving in there but be careful not to shave to much of it cause then You have to get new Ones.

i just replaced the whole distributor. i got the car to start, but now it has a really ruff idle... i put -40 for the afc but my a/f guage says thats to lean... so for 1k i put -32 and that makes it stoich. when i drove really slow.. my car seems to backfire alot.. (popping sound). I smell something burning.. and when i looked underneath my car the back half of the cat was glowing red hot... i could see the heat waves coming off it as well. whats going on? someone help me

no codes at all. but for some reason my srs light is on full time now. grrr. anyways, i drove it to prospeed imports and got it tuned there... eugene did an awesome job, idles perfect and set to 5psi lol .. (its a start) now i dont have to worry about missing work. tuning somehow got rid of most of the problems. acceleration is so smooth. I went from sub 100hp to 149whp... im a happy camper ..... for now.
