I bought a JDM Type R LSD a few months back and was looking at it and I keep hearing things about how you must use different bearings and etc.
So here are some pictures of it and tell me if you can install it with these bearings or if I need to ge tthe correct ones...

 

I prefer new bearings. Ijust got 97 type-r diff bearings and a new shim. Dont bescared there easy as hell to put in

 

about how much are these lsd's going for? might be a good next mod...

 

I got mine for $300.
But I have seen them go for as much as $500.

 

I might be able to get one used.

not mine....I doubt it....I'll only buy it if I get paid for it....don't wanna get stuck with it.

 

what tranny you putting it in? it will only fit in a gsr with those bearings.

 

yea its going in a 00' GSR tranny.

Also it came out of a guys GSR tranny so I imagine it will go right in correct?
