i have a 92 ls and i just bought a b16 head becuase i was going to do a ls/vtec but im having second thoughts. i was thinking about boosting insted cuz i only have 800 left but i can sell the head to get some more money. what do you guys think i should do. or i can do the ls/vtec and do turbo later. also the motor is stock so what all will i need if i go turbo? i need to know every little thing i will need to make a turbo kit beacuse since im in a budget i need to buy everything seprate but i dont know what all i need and which turbo i should buy. i have a hondata with the boost option and a p28 ecu. please i need to know asap.

i know its not the best quality i can buy but remember im in a budget so will this do. and also i dont plan to run to much boost becuse my motor is stock.

Personally, I would go LS Turbo... That's the setup i have right now. Reasons being that it is more relaible than an ls/vtec turbo setup. Eventually you are going to want to resort to some sort of forced induction. With the stock LS you should be able to boost higher (10psi), compared to the ls/vtec which has a higher compression ratio, meaning you want to run lower boost to save your motor. But... If you have the money to build the entire block, go with the ls/vtec. I'd say this is a personal preference post. So here's my opinion.... LS Turbo Non-Vtec, so when you hit that 12, you can say i did it without vtec... haha
