Default Ls-vtec Turbo - Clearances

I am a little lost as to what kind of clearances i should have as far as valves and rod bearings for my turbo lsvtec setup. I have heard that looser (bigger clearance) is better for boost how true is this? Could someone point me in the right direction?

If its an LS block.....then get LS rod bearings..

What ever head u choose to run ( ITR, b16, GSR, b17 etc...) set the valve clearances to manuf. specs.(stock head)

Looser clearance in the rods/main bearings or valve lash??
