Default LS VTEC TURBO

About how much would it cost to build a LS VTEC TURBO? Any recommendations on what parts to use? Please gimme suggestions on how i should go about building it. Thanks.

its costing me about 1500 to make it complete, thats using eagle rods, je pistons, je rings, b16a head that is P and P, aebs headstuds, and all the other stupid **** that makes it work.

I think its more than that especially if u want a shop to do it for u.

Here was my ls vtec break down:
GSR head - 450
Dizzy- 100
Valve Cover - 80
New NGK spark plugs and wire (ls wont fit) - 100
block guard - 100
AEBS head stud - 120
HP headgasket - 110
catchcan and return line - 150
pistons and rods - 600
Blox intake manifold - 200
Hondata im gasket - 65
MSD coil/ cap - 100

Parts: $2175 (not including MISC stuff like gauges, fuel managment, etc.)
Labor: 500 and up

Advice: I recommand getting the head milled and looked at before installing it. I learned the heard way and when I had the shop put the vtec head on, it leaked Therefore, I got charged double for the labor. Do it right the first time or it will cost u in the long run

im about 6g's in the hole....thats w/ forged internals no sleeving...and a whole put together turbo setup...

well heres where im at, and dont forget we are talking about an engine, not the turbo stuff. im replacing a b16a so i have the tranny and everything else already, just building block and head and sticking it in there. All labor done by me except machine work

block: 100$
B16A head w/P&P - 400
block guard - 70
AEBS head studs - 110
OEM headgasket - 60
catchcan and return line - 80
pistons and rods - 600
Machine work: 145
Water Pump: 60
Rings: 85
SS adaption lines: 50$
misc **** left to get: 50$

roughly about 3g's in the motor....now that is considering i assembled everything myself

6500 + motor build + turbo install...labor prob would be right around 1500 or so...so you looking at about 8 grand...and im not even running all the bling bling parts like sc61's....besides my turbo is equally capable for about a 1/3 the price

i do everything myself, wiring and all. tuning and machine work is the only thing not done by me. Im just telling you what i payed for this stuff. i have it all, im a good shopper, and ive got lots of friends with STUFF laying around everywhere. my prices are not low, just good shopping. some stuff you added are valid like fluids though.

ditto here...shopping around save me some coin...def couldn't have made this all at one point in time...its been 3 years of collecting part by part and changing plans (drag mani & t3 super 60 &gt; eq length & holset hx35)
