i want to build a motor with +500hp... i already have a gsr head i pulled off a 01 acura and i also have a b20 long block. but what i want to know is if the b20 could handel up to +500hp?? i been hearing neg things about a b20. i heard b20's you can only get them up to 300-400hp. ive seen ls vtech's make 600-700hp.

i just want to know if its a waste for me to keep on buyin things for the b20 ive got new Wiseco Pistons Eagle Rods
and the head has got the skunk2 head packaga

any help would be nice

 

u need to get the block sleeved.

 

thats it, its not going to f*** up on me if i try pushing it that much i was thinkin of sleeving it anyway

 

 

You don't need to sleeve it, but you are running on the ragged edge and one good hit of detonation will probably put a crack in the sleeves or worse.

 

yeah your not gonna build **** if you cant even spell vtec

 

what you can do is keep dreaming because you cant even spell vtec correctly.

 

theres alot more to getting 600hp that just a built motor..
