i bought a set of track bars for my crx from full race. they kick ***. no wheel hop ever. but i still don't think your gunna get much traction in first gear, at full throttle in first my stock gsr motor breaks the tires loose at around 6500 to 7000 rpm

of coarse, i can launch my car around 4.5k and still get goood traction. the bars are expensive but its completely worth it.

x2...you have limited choices for tires and none of them are going to be good since they're such a low profile

^ They work ok, but depending on your power level, your still going to have to stage boost in 1st and 2nd.

bfg radials are sweet. ill be buying another pair for the street this comming summer.

ps once you get traction on the street now you have to worry about snappin axles and breaking **** again lol

Traction bars and drag radials, then suspension mods. I once had 17's with low pro's I ran 9.2 @90mph in a 8th, I finally stop spinning at the traps lol. No traction is so fun

you can get some 225/40R17 from BFG but i don't know how good they would work. i would recommend the mickey tompson 205/50R15 over the 225/50R15 bfg's anyday. they hood up so much better

if you are worried about traction I would recommend BFG's on a smaller wheel. You didn't see Steph Papadakis running on low pro's.

Traction bars are really for wheel hop. Which does help with traction if you are suffering from wheel hop. You can never pay too much for traction. Every little bit helps, but be wise with the funds you have.

Has anyone tried the Hoosier 225/50R15? I know most people who have tried the M&H 235/60R15 say they are the best.

wheel hop is not a issue for me . so the traction bars are pretty much useless for my problem

I would definitly buy drag radials. I had problems with spinning thru 3rd, and I was launching at 3k. Got the BFG's and now having problems trying to find an rpm that I don't bog at now. I had a good run and launched at 4800, but spun thru first.

You dont have to go any smaller than a 15" because there are plenty of tires available for that size. My BFG Drag Radials, the ones i posted the picture of, are mounted on a 15" Rota Grid....
