I did a search on LS Turbo's trying to find max boost. I've seen that the very max on a completely stock motor is 12-14 psi. My question is what boost/whp can I run with a blockguard and forged rods/pistons? Will the stock sleeves still be too weak to handle more than 14 psi? I'm looking at an 81.5 mm bore with 8.9:1 compression pistons. I don't have the money for sleeving so this is my next option.

 

with forged pistons and rods and stock sleeves, id aim for around 400whp ...stock sleeves can actually handle quite a bit if tuned properly

 

Some guy started a thread for specifically turbo LS's (which I thought was pretty cool)... can't remember who... Some guy had a built LS boost about the 400 whp range... totally awesome!
