LS Turbo not making power
I have a 1992 Honda Civic Hatch.
In the car i have a 1991 Acura Integra Ls Motor. (B18A1)
I just put on a turbo kit with high expectations. I wanted to boost 10psi and get anywhere between 230 - 250 whp. I went to have it tuned and it only made 200whp on 10 psi.
The motor is a stock B18A1. It has a B16 Tranny.
The kit is made up of:
A DRAG Ex manifold
A Ebay t3/t4 Turbo (.60a/r)
A 3" down pipe (open downpipe, no exhaust)
A Synapse Wastegate (40MM)
A Front mount Intercooler (w/ 2 1/4" piping)
A type rs BOV
AEM Fuel rail and FPR
RC 650cc Injectors
Walbro 255 intank fuel pump
Chipped P06 ECU (With Crome)
I just wanted to know what can be holding me back from making the power i want?

is there a flex section on that downpipe ?
have you done a compression or leakdown test ?
is the timing belt on correct ?
is the ignition timing phased properly ?

smaller turbo does = less power. how conservative did your tuner tune it? whats the afr's at under wot?
also, post up the map yo.
hopefully wherever you dyno'd did an af reading.

Lots of issues. An "ebay" turbo could be of any size. As someone said, 10psi on a 40 trim is different than 10psi on a 50 trim. Never go by a PSI level to determine the power you want. Some other things:
-Check for boost leaks. Big change in power
-Check the tune. Might be pretty conservative on AFR or timing.
-Again, check what turbo it is you purchased.. Don't just go by the Ebay advertisement data, it is usually incorrectly typed.
-May be conservative based upon the fuel you're using. After all, you are in California w/ 91 octane swill.
