I can see you making about 250-270 on 10-11 lbs of boost no problem. If it were me I would be happy with that amount of power, especially on a daily driver. That is what I am shooting for with my b16 on pretty much the same setup.

Motors can handle good amounts of power, pending the tune and tuner that is working on the car. If you honestly want to make 300whp, why not do a 3" downpipe with the 3" exhaust all the way back? I'd also take a look into some 550 injectors, no reason not to.

Pretty much answered your own question. If you have to rely on this setup and vehicle as your only means of transportation, why push it hard right off the bat?

Re: (Thurman_Merman)
you'll need roughly 15 psi to hit 300 whp. my ls was making just about 12 hp/psi, and i made 240 on 10....(simple math evades me sometimes, but i think thats right).
i would get 550's though. 300whp is way borderline on 450s and stock pressure. i ran fatally lean at probably about 325-340whp on 450's and stock fuel pressure.
250whp in a street car is way fun, and can get you into trouble quicker than you'd expect

Exactly! I would be so happy with that much power, and you will have a pretty damn good amount of torque to go along with it

Re: (ek9vboi2)
as long as you got a good tuner, i'd say shoot for the most you can get on a conservative tune. you know you will probably eventually want more anyways, why not just do it now instead of going back later and having to get retuned for more boost?
and i'd go ahead and do the 3" dp for the same reason........

hahaha. i do have to say though, open downpipe lsvtec 13 psi was more fun than my 12 psi ls, but around town the ls was much nicer

Re: (jdmhonda)
you will need more than 550 injectors to make 300 whp......when i shot for 300 i had to but 720's b/c i maxed out my RC 550's at like 12psi....I think it too me like 16psi on a stock LS to get 309, ofcourse I didnt leave it there i had it set at 12 psi and that gave me 271....still good power b/c an LS makes killer torque!
