Default LS power/time RECORD

i was kind of curious as to what the records for the LS complete motor were....as in LS block and head......

any info would be great.....LS stock block and head, LS built block and head, Methonal, Gasoline, etc.....

i know that not alot of people are dealing with these inferior engines....i would just like to know what the records were......need something to beat, ya know?

pump gas?
probably higher out there but i remember some one who did like 280 something wid like 235 tq, and some one who did like 300 ish wid race gas, but u know what the one on race gas had block guard, which i guess disqualifies them.

im sure the record is well above 300...... i was told the overall record was 700 something on methonal for the LS, i dont intend on running methonal, but i would like to know what the record is none the less.

No chance in hell a stock B18b made 700hp with completely stock internals

I dont think it would be over 400whp even with 110octane, My guess is 340whp tops with a great tune and an Sc61 laggy monster turbo

This engine has over 70 dyno pulls and is still pulling hard with no compression loss, and great leak-down. Right now it running all-motor until Dameon gets a new turbo.

This was with a SC-61. There was a smaller turbo on the engine, but it blew up during tuning, so we put the 61 on it to race in Maryland the next morning.

430whp on 23 or 24psi, I forget. Then cranked it up to 28psi but never dyno'd it at that level. Then sprayed a 100 shot on top of that and one of the stock sleeves let go.

In an old Honda-Tuning they featured a 600whp LS, it was in a red EG.
