ls pistons in b16 for boost
i wanna put ls pistons in my b16 and i was wondering if it is possible to do it..
i dont know if the valves will hit the pistons.. i dont wanna boost on high compression b16 pistons.. alittle help plz

Ive used US ITR's in my B16 to get 9.7:1; and Im currently using P72's for 9.0:1.
IMHO LS pistons might be a tad bit low. C-Speed compression calc is down right now, but if I remember right LS in B16 will yield around 8.5:1. A bit too low IMHO.
I didnt notice any part throttle/off boost difference when at 9.7:1, but at 9:1 it is deff. noticable. Part throttle is no longer snappy, and WOT at 0" vacuum is down on power. I am currently boosting 15psi through an SC61 on the P72 pistons right now, and all is well.
FYI, your B16 rods will not fit into ITR's or P72's with out machine work. I elected to have material taken off the pistons instead; and balanced them afterwards.
Goodluck
