Default Low Compression b16 Cams?

Setup is:

b16a2
8:1 pistons
Turbonetics 5857
Cast manifold
Rocket motorsports cams/retainers

Currently have the stock b16 cams in but while I'm in there putting in the springs and retainers I was planning on putting some cams in. I have a set of Rocket Motorsports M21KE stg 4 cams, and a set of Delta 272's. Could also get my hands on a set of stock GSR cams. Which cam would be best? Not sure if the rocket cam will be any good with the 8:1 compression ratio of the engine.

Short block came from a car I parted out. I realize now I should have swapped the pistons out.

176-T to maybe wake up your mid range. That cast manifold comboed with 8:1 wont help your out of boost daily driving too.
Id say go for a better manifold first like a mini ram or a ramhorn. Cast mani will make a setup more unefficient out of boost.
If you can find somone that can mae a mini-eq like lovefab it will be the best.

B16's don't like low compression - it makes them terribly lazy at low to mid-rpm. A set of 10:1 forged pistons will be great. I don't know the details of the two cams you reference, so cannot help out with that one. Based on a quick Google search the Rocket's are quite large with 250 degree at 0.050. They should make for strong top-end power if your turbine housing is large enough and you not using a log-type manifold.

Cams that size need some runner length to minimise inter-cylinder interference

Good choice, compression will make a night/day difference.
