lovefab sidewinder
I did a search and found zip. Can anyone who has this manifold tell me what size radiator fan you got and where you got it from. Also where to get cheap steel braided radiator hoses? Lovefab says this is all required for use of this manifold.

Or your existing hose, and a piece of metal spliced in between the engine and radiator. A standard electric fan from Autozone/pep boys/advanced auto should work just fine...

Re: lovefab sidewinder (alternativeGSR1)
DLB1994 has put out a touch over 400whp on one, thats the highest so far. he ran into airflow problems w/the head, so once he gets that figured out, it should climb drastically.
Im still trying to catch up, but am slowly getting there...4 weeks or so is the wait time. If you are in a hurry, better look elsewhere right now
*edit* All sidewinders are now going to that style...search for him, and you will see what I mean. I believe it is more functional in the way of power, etc.

I meant to ask the question this way. Is the sidewinder capable of making as good of numbers as the SST and the excalibur? I am really needing a manifold that wont crack so I would wait for one of these as long as it takes.

Yes it will make just as much power as the other tubular manifolds in my lineup, there are no comprimises whatsoever, just a change of turbo location.
This is NOT an amatuer manifold install, youll see why from these pics:

Is there anyway you could place the flange for the wastegate like the Hytech manifold? I would think it would vent alittle more efficiently, looks very nice and I can't wait to order one. What is the price on these guys anyways?

do you also mean the B series tubular sidewinders will be set up like this sidewinder on a H series engine? Hopefully not .... I want to try running the sidewinder with a air/water intercooler like the hytech kit.

Re: lovefab sidewinder (DLB1994)
that looks like i pain to run the charge pipe and doesn't it get kind of hot like that the old style looked easier to install also does this one spool faster? what are the pros of running this manifold compared to the old style

Re: lovefab sidewinder (BoostedH23a1)
I was wondering the same thing, cause the lines run right wheret he manifold is, and then one would need to run right where the turbo sits

with this new setup I wouldn't be able to keep ABS.... I like stopping without my brakes locking up.
I trully hope he doesn't intend these changes for all cars .... I prefer the tubular turbo manifold over the cast sidewinder because of the length of the collector...

Re: lovefab sidewinder (dasher)
B series wont be quite as tight into the fender-well as the H series. On Tegs/civics w/h22, this is the ONLY way itll work w/out me copying anyone. AC will work jsut fine with moving a few lines(unbolt, and slowly bend into shape to clear). As for B series, w/out the distributor being on the front cam, The turbo can sit ALOT closer to the engine, to allow more room for piping. I have yet to make this, but theoretically this will work. Ive been getting grilled ALOT for copying, EVEN THOUGH I HAVE DONE NONE OF THE SUCH, and this is an effective way to be different.

ARE YOU SERIOUS.........who's giving you **** about copying, Hytech? If I get the Sidewinder, I would like it to be like the first style you produced!

Re: lovefab sidewinder (turbo Si)
just everyone in general, its really discouraging. If you want that style, itd be stupid to NOT produce it, but I want it to be my primary design. Ill have a V1, and V2

Re: lovefab sidewinder (Tinker219)
So if I order one of the sidewinders within the next couple weeks(for an integra) it will be in the original style, right? changing the style will force me to change manifolds... I won't get rid of my abs and want the choice between an air/air or air/water....
