Does anyone here have bad/sticking lost motion assemblies? This is the proper name on the springs like things that the Vtec lobe floats on when vtec is not engaged is'nt it? Also what is the best method of cleaning pistons/rods/block/etc....... Since hot tank is out of the question?

I'm not quite sure what you're asking. Carb cleaner works great on cleaning parts. About a year or so ago I had an LMA going bad and I didn't realize it til later. My motor had a loud knock/tick at 4K to idle. Describe what it is doing so someone can help you.
