Default lost horsepower equation

Damn if I cant find this thing again. I saw an equiton on a site where you could take a target HP number and work backwards to the amount of boost needed for that goal. anyone know where I saw that? I found several sites with written equations, but this was more like plug in # and calculate. anyone help?

BTW i'm looking 275-300hp with a D16A8 (ZC) if possible. Assume engine is built to handle. any suggestions on turbos, manifolds, injectors would be appreciated.

Just figure out what flow you engine will produce at what pr for the turbo that you will be using and figure 1lb/min = 10hp, then add that to your n/a hp an viola. That will give you a rough estimate. GL.
