Loosing Tach signal Please Help

Default Loosing Tach signal Please Help

2000 civic EK. Im Loosing tach signal with load it goes up to about 7600 rpm then drops to 0 and comes back up and drops again and sometimes stays 0 causing the car to loose power but then comes back feels like a hick up. I've had this problem for about a year now, and I cant figure it out so any help will be appreciated.Here are some specs.
2001 B18c1 with 2000 Si wiring harness
AEM EMS 30-1050
Stock B16a Si Dizzy Took off gsr Dizzy and no change still hick up
Used to have MSD 6al and Blaster coil removed it and no change
Greddy Profec B spec 2 Boost controller
AEM 3 bar Map sensor
70mm throttle body
Full-Race T4 top mount PT67R, used to have log mani and TO4E still hick up
1000cc precision Inj, used to have 550 RC still hick up
380 hp@ 17psi could not get it higher do to boost controller and the hick up
12.088@118mph 60FT 1.731

so you have tried two different distributors with no change?

Yes 2 different distributors 2 different AEM EMS my old 30-1040 and now my new 30-1050 and no change.

check your grounds. The ground on the water neck is the most important.

Its connected I took it off and cleaned it im going to give it a try. I have 3 extra grounds that I made from 8 gauge wire. Valve cover to core support, Trans to Frame, and Intake Mani to strut tower.But I have had those for a while and the car still hickups at arround 7600 with load.

thers a filter that can be placed on the oem crank trigger that helps redice the noise made by the dizzy or u can get the tony1 trigger thing

do a datalog and log all your inputs on fast channels, including vss.

Tomorrow is going to be 70+ degrees no rain so im going to test my car, I took the EBC off running wastegate I want to check if this could be the problem.

I removed the Greddy EBC and I went on the hyway and the problem seems to be gone, my tach goes to 9K no hickup and not loosing tach signal, I tried it 3 times and worked good. I hope that was the problem.
