Looking for SC61 comparable turbo's......
Ive been waiting WAY to long for my SC61 to arrive (6+weeks now), i paid extra for the T04S compressor housing, and polished.
Im really debating on just getting my money back, and going with a different turbo.. From what i have been told, Precision is backordered on the housing i want, and it wont be anytime soon
Im looking for something with a 4" inlet and a 2.5" outlet on the compressor side, ~.63ar on the exhaust side. What are some options i have? Ive searched a lot on the board, and ive seen talk about T3/T67 hybrids, but i dont know enough about them just yet...
BTW: This isnt for a honda. This is going on a PGT. 2.8L stroker drag project. Im not afraid of lag, but i dont want to wait until 6k to get boost either

if its a drag car then put a 2 step on and launch in boost, but anyway a t67 is the largest t3/t4 available.

Hmmm, Maybe you would like this turbo then....https://honda-tech.com/zeropost...72752I have no real need to sell it so don't offer me $600 for it like everyone else on this board has tried.

Also, ive already made all of the piping, and id really like to find something with a T3 inlet, and 5 bolt downpipe flange, so i dont have to remake anything
The t3/t67 sounds like what i would want, but from what i found, it only comes in the 4 bolt flange
The car isnt really a 'drag' car, but wont be driven on the street all that often. But not a straight out drag car, it will still have plates and get driven on fun weekends

I have a HX35 with the larger 14cm^2 turbine housing and it works out to be really close to the specs you posted.
. . . and you would probably save yourself several hundred dollars. (Not to mention the Holsets can take a lickin and keep on ticking)

Why would he want a turbo with that small of an exhaust wheel for a 2.8 litre motor?
Straight T4, or a PT71-GTQ .68 A/R. Courtney Green said he sees 15 psi by 5700 RPM's on a 2 litre motor with the 71-GTQ

same thing i asked.. a straight t4/t67 would work...what is your hp goal anyways? thats kinda needed inorder to prescribe a turbo.

i have a gt3561e sitting on our shelf.
same size compressor wheel as sc61, with better spool from the sc61
a tad bit less power.

Yeah, that would be great
But i dont a specific hp 'goal' in mind, but i DONT like having to buy things twice. ~500whp has a nice ring to it
