T3 Super 60 would be a good choice, but at the same time, i think you're going about this all wrong. Sure having quick spool is supposedly nice and all, but you're going to want something that can sustain your car in high rpms...not to mention that traction is going to be an issue. I had a turbo that spooled on my GSR at 3800rpm and pulled through redline. It made 315/216 (whp/wtq) and even that spooled almost too fast for the street. Granted, it was fun, but at the same time, i had to run Drag Radials just to hook up....something to think about

+1. If you're looking to make significant amounts of power on street tires, then lag can actually be your friend.
But if you are looking for something mild that spools down low, scrounge around for a 14b from a 1g DSM. You might be able to squeeze 250whp out of it, plus they're dirt cheap. For a little more, get a 16g. They still spool down low but have the capability for mid-300's with certain variants.

So you're saying a turbo like a t3/t67 is the best street turbo? On/off switch??
Throttle bodies are in fact not on/off switches, meaning if you can modulate it, you can control how fast it spools as well as full boost to an extent. My friend had a b16 setup I had to help with, it used a t3 60trim w/stg1 turbine. That was still enough to make 250whp at 9psi. The motor was a bone-stock ~1990 b16a.
If you got a 60trim&.60a/r T3 with a stg3&.48a/r turbine, you'd spool fast (full boost around 3k), and have power to redline. With a .63a/r housing, you could push it to 300-325whp with your parts list.

I think you've read enough of my posts to know that this isn't how i think and its not what i mean. I'm just advising agains throwing a 14b on a B16. I think something like T3 Super 60 would be an awesome turbo and its nice to have a well rounded powerband.
