Re: Which Light Flywheel (CzanSOHC)
yeah the ACT ones are nice looking and well priced. 12.5 lbs for the streetlite, I think I want something lighter like 11 lbs though.

go 12.5 lbs. I had best results with a type r flywheel at 14lbs compared to my now 6lb clutchmaster. you loose a lot of torque with a flywheel that is too light. I'm referring to the street car. i think the 12.5 would be just right.

no you definetly loose torque!! as far as turning up the boost goes. imagine if you turned it up 2 more lbs with the heavier flywheel. more tq again.

Do you think the Streetlite one for a built d16 is good, or should i stick w/ stock?

You dont loose torque if the weight is properly displaced. Toda is chromemolly and is quick reving at 9lbs and i lost no torque and i have the dyno to prove it.
This was without boost tho.

My street car is boosted and it lost torque. i went from 14lbs all the way to 6lbs and it lost torque on the dyno.

Re: Which Light Flywheel (Boost'R'Us)
Is the one above sfi certified?
The act 12.5 pound flywheel is nice. Its not too heavy at all. More weigh actually helps pull you on the top end because and object in motion tends to stay in mottion. The extra weight also helps control lauches for guys at the track. Its a super good price and it is chromolly. For what its worth...its also sfi certified.
