LHT K20a Insight
It will end up being Boosted when I recoupe some of the $$$$ I dumped into it.
The trip to NOPI was 80mph + the whole time and we got average of 47mpg. I know it will get 55+ around 65-70pmh with some more tuning.

I would drive that in a heart beat. One sick DD for sure.

Makes me want to buy an Insight and have this done to it! If you don't mind me asking, how much did this cost to make and do you plan on doing this to others if they are interested?

We have had some interest in building some more, It's kinda pricey but we like to build over kill so it's 100% right.
I will write up more detail later on the car. I can tell you it really does drive awesome, with the JDM 6 speed and 14" wheels it goes like a rocket.
We have been toying with building one for a while, I bought one for my wife back in 2003 and loved the way it drove but the lack of power was fustrating. We even turbo'd a couple.
Once we decided to build this I said it HAS to have OEM mounts ( No teeth rattling) HAS to have AC( The Factory climate control works 100%) and of course the PS and ABS are functionable also.
And to keep the Insight people happy is HAS to get good MPG, it's hard to keep you foot out of it but it really does sip the 93 running 19-1 AF ( Open loop)
More later.
