my friend got his engine put back together yesterday, and when they went to build oil pressure it started to leak out from the head gasket(new) on the tranny side. It isnt leaking anywhere else, and the studs are torqued down to spec. Any ideas what it might be? could it be that something is causing it not seal completely?

 

sounds like you put the head gasket in backwards
