Default Launching with a Turbo setup?

I've changed to a Turbo setup ( Revhard Stage 2 ) from being N/A last season. I now have a B18C1 Hatch Swap with the above turbo kit. This is inside a 92 Civic hatch. I know its going to take practice to get used to launching the new setup. When I was N/A, I would set my rpms to 6k and launch from there ( mash my foot to the floor ). With the Turbo setup, however, running 10psi, instead of mashing my foot to the floor, should I just "squeeze" the accellerator down rather than mash the acelerator like when I was N/A and "feel the boost"? Thanks for any experienced info!!

I suggest try it all out, if your car is still peg legged than dropping the hammer at high rpm will only lead to lots of tire spin. if you have a differential, try high rpm slip launches and see what rpm works best, have a good clutch that can withstand being spun in order transfer max power to ground while still slipping enough to keep rpms up high in power/boost band. you might wanna get a two step rpm module from MSD to help work this out in a more controlled manner.

It sounds to me like you need to go with some slicks for best results. You are gonna lose alot of traction with that application in that chasis (wheelbase) If you do run on street tires i would recommend slipping the clutch a little of the line and peddling the gas after the 1-2 shift untill the tires grab. You will be slow off the line but should more than make up for it in the top end. Just for your info A friend of mine is running a similar set up and he went 11.80 on some small *** slicks. Good luck with the new set up.

In addition to the above list, I also have an ACT Extreme Clutch with the 6-puck. Thanks again, everyone!

Nice, have you try running with slicks on turbo, yet?

I'de say slip the clutch, try half throttle, or lunch in second. Just practice, like what I'm doing,
