Default Largest b16 Turbo Bore

Whats the largest bore a b16 can go without having to be resleeved? Just out of curiosity if anybody has been running FI for 2 years on 83.782mm, etc.....preciate it peace, lates,

the bore was sarcastic.....but still wondering about a size the walls wont crack under high stress.....

Just leave the sleeves stock. Get it honed and put some forged pistons and rods in it. You dont need to bore the thing..lol You'll make more power with stock bore than if you were to go larger (because larger will crack) with stock sleeves. You'll crack them with any hint of detonation. Just leave it stock and run more boost.. that is the purpose of a turbo right? make the motor act as if it were larger displacement...?

true but stock sleeves wont produce as much power as larger ones would....just might cost a little more....

ok so you bore it a couple millimeters larger then stock. is it really gonna give you that much of a different in HP to risk having the sleeves cracking under boost? if you want larger displacement - resleeve and bore it.
