Kteller Exhaust for EF
alright dudes.
i turbo'd my car when my car was N/A i had the muffler shop install a 2.5 exhaust with a generic muffler and resonator. it's also crushed bent.
i have a spoolinperformance setup with a 60 trim on my lsvtec. i made 295hp with 184trq.
the dp is 3' reduced to a 2.5 all the way back to a vibrant box with a 3' outlet. im getting my car retuned with some new parts and looking to make 300hp without boosting too much. one of it is a 3' exhaust system all mandrel bends.
i was looking through the forums and alot of people uses ktellers kits. i found the 88-91 civic kit
http://www.kteller.com/shop/index.ph...mart&Itemid=71
and im hoping that its long enough to fit on my sedan. (im sure it will though) im also getting another vibrant box but this time 3'inlet and 3' outlet.
im not sure what brand/length of a resonator to go with. i want it to be as quiet as possible (yea right, turbo+3' piping ) actually doesnt matter cause its my project car and not my daily.
you think i'll feel/gain a difference in power with this setup?

Re: Kteller Exhaust for EF
full 3" will definately help you. especially since you are running crush bent now, i bet some of the bends get really small and restrictive.
just grab a magnaflow resonator like 12", honestly turbo cars arent really that loud (compared to NA) the turbo quiets them down a bit. i run straight 3" no cat, no res to a vibrant 3" and its not too loud at all

Re: Kteller Exhaust for EF
i know it isnt too loud even with my b16 tranny. if you say yours isnt too loud with the 3' inch to the box, i might as well get a resonator too. the crush bent on the piping does get narrow and i feel like a sputter before it really flys.
im going to order the ktellers kit as well as the vibrant box+magnaflow resonator.
thanks for your input.
