Knock sensor on the Profec B spec2 question

Knock sensor on the SAFC2 question
The manual tells you how to set it up and how to make it more accurate, but it doesn't tell you how to read it. When does it actually knock? Does it have to go over a certain number before it's an official knock? If that's the case what number?

the profec spec 2 is a boost controller, it hasd nothing to do with knock . and there are no other wires on it to hook it up to anything to sense knock .
