After reading that some use the KN ru-2520 i went out and got one for my t3/t04e but its way to big to hold on the turbo, i wonder if there was a smaller one i should have got or get some sort of adapter, please advise

 

Well it looks like you bought the wrong sized one. Take it back if you can and get the right one.

and it works great. It's somewhat small, so it fits in tight spaces well.
