Ok i know how a turbo works and everything but that is about it. And i am intrested in makeing "junkyard turbo because that is prolly the cheapest way to go. Some of my questions are, What exactly is a drag I, II, III turbo how are the diffrent?
I always hear people talk about how they have a t3,t4 t25 turbo, what dose that mean (is it just the size?) What is turbo lag, and spooling? Whats a turbo wastgate?
That all the questions i can think of right now, im sure i will have more later

Turbo lag is the time it takes for the turbo spool up. The waste gate controls how much exhaust flow goes into the exhaust turbine. This contols how much boost is send to your motor.
