Default K20 fmu?

Is it possible to run a fmu on a K20? These engines don't have a fuel return line. I plan on getting Hondata K pro when I get the money so lets not go there but I'm just anxious to get my car boosted. Is it possible to just cap the return side of the fmu or would this cause a problem. If anybody could help me out would be much appreciated.

Well the purpose of the fmu is to raise fuel pressure by restriction some of the fuel going back to the tank.. Putting an fmu on a returnless fuel system isnt going to do anything at all..

I would wait until you can get a tunable system, might want to look into the vafc hack but I dont know if that would work correctly with the ignition system in your car..

yep, it won't work. I know aeromotive make a digital fmu for returnless fuel systems

I saw that last night.. I guess it works by jumping up the voltage going to the fuel pump or something..

I dont really see the gains with using a returnless fuel system.. It seems to me that changing the pressure in the line would have a slower response time than the normal return fuel systems..

I beleive the Aeromotive is the only FMU on the market right now for returnless. It seems pretty cool it is a digital FMU and you can set the ratios for fuel to boost, but $450 seems to be quite expensive for a FMU

all you need is bigger intake fuel pump and bigger 750cc rc injectors and you can make 400whp and it has been done on dyno on that setup with no fuel re-turn rail or fpr!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just dont see how it would work.. Is the fuel pump setup to a set pressure rating and the injectors just change the pulse width more.. Or does the ecu make the fuel pump change pressure?
