yeah thats what i figured. As long as i dont boost it should be good. Ill probably shift at like 2000 just to be safe. what if i dont get a base map? and if i really need one how hard is it to install into a P72?
Yeah i know once i get my tracking number and everything is on its way im going to be so stoked ha. i kind of hope it gets here right before i get back from my vaca and its waiting on me. So that way im not back here waiting and waiting for it.

I got the s300 and got everything from turbokits.com i just tried to call them but they are closed so i will have to try tom. what if the wont or cant load one for me?
i will post pics and numbers when i get it all put together.( est. mid june)

Two options for you that would be best.
1. Tow it to the tuner and they can loadup a base map to get it running and place it on the dyno.
2. Remove wastegate spring so no boost can happen. Keep your stock ECU and injectors in if possible this way it runs the same as stock anyway. When they get the car on the dyno for tuning then they can switch out the injectors and install the WG spring.

thanks bro for the different options... I have stock injectors on my 96 B18C and they are OBD2 clips. i know i have to put the new clips on when im doing the swap.
ok so i just talked to turbokits.com and they said they cant get a base map on the hondata for me. They said i should be able to get one from H-T, that someone should have a base map for my setup. Does anyone know where i could get a base map for my setup or does anyone have one? also how do i install a base map into my ecu or with my hondata s300?
Also They told me the wastegate comes with a stock 6.5bar spring which is about 9psi. That would put me at around 330whp give or take some. do you think that is a safe hp number for my stock B18C (10.6:1)?
usdm gsr=10:1 JDM sir-g=10.6:1 yeah thats what i meant .6 bar ha but you think 330 should still be safe correct as long as its a conservative good tune.
Yeah so just a small update..... I just recieved my kit yesterday besides my manifold and intercooler which i hope to have this week because i plan on putting it on this weekend and getting it tuned. as soon as i do ill post up my numbers and some pics of finished motor.

yeah its my first so im super stoked at only 5psi i made that but i want around 300whp so i want to go to 8psi but do not have a controller. So my next buy will be a .5 or .6 bar spring which will put me around 300 what i want then i will be happy.

Just to give you an idea...
I ordered the 57trim also but mine was the Ram Horn AC compatible kit
-I would for sure upgrade the intercooler!! Dont go with the smaller entry level one. That is what kept me from making more power! that or the turbo not sure....i think the turbo would have help up to 500whp though..
I made 440whp at 7600rpm the power dropped after that...it was weird cuz the torque line was flatt and it kept climbing...at 20psi on a built B16 84mm and P&P head with Sk2 Pro 1's Edelbrock mani...
Then i bought a 700hp core went for the retune and made 400whp pump gas...but then it blew up on the dyno!
Tim at Xact Dyno tuned it...i know what caused it but hey you gotta pay to play! lol

Peakboostsi... Ken was great. he kept me up to date on everything. It took a lot longer than expected to get everything but they worked with me and now im pleased. For me the intercooler is fine bro it fits perfect and will hold all the power i need. all i want is around 300whp because i have stock block and stock everything. but good numbers for you bro. all i need to do is up the boost to around 8psi and ill be right at 300ish

congrats on your numbers so far...im trying to get the same kit and i pretty much am shooting for around 300hp too. so we'll see what happens, but for now, nice job
